Download Bored. and tap "Sign Up." You can register with your email, or sign in with Apple, Google, or Facebook. You must be at least 13 years old to use Bored.

Go to Settings > scroll to the bottom > tap "Delete Account." This permanently removes all your data within 30 days. You can also request deletion by emailing contact@staybored.app.

On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?" and enter your email address. We'll send you a reset link. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few minutes.

Yes! Go to Settings > tap "Edit Profile" and update your username. Usernames must be unique, lowercase, and contain only letters, numbers, underscores, or hyphens.

Privacy & Data

We collect your account info (name, email, date of birth), activity data (pushup counts, challenges, streaks), and content you create (posts, journal entries). We do NOT use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. See our full Privacy Policy for details.

No. Never. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Period.

Our AI uses TensorFlow.js to detect your body pose directly on your device. Your camera feed is processed locally — no video or images are sent to our servers. It stays on your phone.

Yes. Email contact@staybored.app to request a full export of your personal data. We'll provide it in JSON/CSV format within 30 days.

Video rooms use LiveKit for real-time streaming. Audio and video are transmitted in real-time but are NOT recorded or stored on our servers.

Features

Boreds are the in-app virtual currency you earn by completing activities — pushups, challenges, quizzes, and more. They track your progress and level. Boreds have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Every day you get 5 mystery cards with surprise challenges. Complete all 5 to unlock a special victory state. Cards reset daily at midnight.

Live Rooms are real-time video spaces where you can join others for study sessions, workout parties, or accountability check-ins. You need to grant camera and microphone permissions to participate.

Create a duel or join one with a code. Both players do pushups simultaneously — the AI counts your reps in real-time. The player with more pushups wins!

Safety & Community

Tap the three dots (...) on any user's profile or post and select "Report." Choose a reason (spam, harassment, inappropriate content, impersonation, or other) and submit. We review all reports within 24 hours.

When reporting a user, you'll be given the option to block them. Blocked users cannot see your profile, posts, or send you messages.

Our team reviews every report within 24 hours. Depending on severity, actions may include a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent ban. We take community safety seriously.
