Community Guidelines

1. Be Respectful

Treat every member of our community with kindness and respect. We are all here to grow together.

Do: Encourage others, celebrate wins (big and small), give constructive feedback, and support people on their journey.

Don't: Belittle others' achievements, mock fitness levels, shame body types, or create a hostile environment.

2. No Harassment or Bullying

Harassment and bullying have zero place in our community. This includes:

• Repeated unwanted contact or messages
• Intimidation, threats, or aggressive behavior
• Targeting someone based on their identity, appearance, or abilities
• Coordinated campaigns against a user
• Stalking or doxxing (sharing private information without consent)

Consequence: Immediate suspension or permanent ban, depending on severity.

3. No Hate Speech or Discrimination

We do not tolerate content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination based on:

• Race, ethnicity, or national origin
• Religion or belief
• Gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation
• Disability or health condition
• Age or socioeconomic status

Consequence: Content removal and immediate permanent ban.

4. No Inappropriate or Explicit Content

Keep it clean. Bored. is designed for users aged 13 and above. The following content is prohibited:

• Nudity, sexually explicit, or suggestive content
• Graphic violence or gore
• Content glorifying self-harm, eating disorders, or suicide
• Drug use promotion or content glorifying substance abuse

If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline.

Consequence: Content removal and account suspension or ban.

5. No Spam or Manipulation

Keep the feed authentic. The following behaviors are prohibited:

• Spam posts, repetitive content, or mass messaging
• Promoting external products, services, or websites without relevance
• Phishing links or malicious URLs
• Fake engagement (like farms, follow-for-follow schemes)
• Misleading content designed to deceive other users

Consequence: Content removal and warning. Repeated violations lead to suspension.

6. No Cheating or Exploitation

Earn your Boreds honestly. Fair play is fundamental to our community.

• Do not use bots, scripts, or automated tools to complete challenges or earn Boreds
• Do not fake pushup counts or manipulate the AI detection system
• Do not exploit bugs or glitches — report them to contact@staybored.app instead
• Do not create multiple accounts to exploit rewards or leaderboards
• Do not collude with other users to manipulate duel outcomes

Consequence: Boreds forfeiture, leaderboard removal, and permanent ban.

7. No Impersonation

Be yourself. Do not impersonate other users, public figures, brands, or organizations. Parody accounts must be clearly labeled as such.

Consequence: Account suspension and forced username/profile change.

8. No Illegal Activity

Do not use Bored. for any unlawful purpose or to promote illegal activities. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Selling or promoting controlled substances
• Facilitating fraud, scams, or money laundering
• Sharing content that violates copyright or intellectual property rights
• Coordinating or promoting criminal activity

Consequence: Immediate permanent ban and potential report to law enforcement.

9. Respect Intellectual Property

Only share content that you have the right to share. Do not post copyrighted material (music, videos, articles, images) without proper authorization. If you believe your intellectual property has been infringed, contact us at contact@staybored.app.

10. Video Rooms & Live Interactions

Live Rooms are real-time video spaces. Additional rules apply:

• All community guidelines apply in video rooms
• Do not record or screenshot other participants without their consent
• Maintain appropriate behavior — you are on camera
• Room hosts may remove participants who violate guidelines
• Do not share rooms with people outside of Bored.

Enforcement

We enforce these guidelines through a graduated system:

Reporting & Appeals

To report a violation: Tap the three dots (...) on any profile or post and select "Report." Choose the appropriate reason and submit. All reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

To appeal a decision: If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, email contact@staybored.app with your username and a description of the situation. We will review your appeal within 7 business days.

We will never reveal your identity when you report someone.
